Many customers have been seeing books at the grading companies being mishandled. These mishandled books include damaged, lost, and swapped books; bends; finger bends; bent corners; inconsistent grading; damaged spines; torn-off covers; and many other issues which the grading companies almost always deny. Multiple times, even my own personal books have been damaged multiple times, and there are other countless complaints I have seen online. Due to these ongoing issues at the grading companies, we do not guarantee what will happen once they handle them. This includes any of the above issues or others.
We will not guarantee that your books will not come back with any issues from the grading companies. If your order leaves us and it has no pressable defects, we are not responsible for what happens once the grading company handles your order. Sending your submissions to a grading company is at your own risk, and you need to understand that the risk can include, but not be limited to, these issues above. I have an on-going file that includes pictures, emails, and continuous online complaints about issues. Our role at Avery Comic Pressing LLC is to press your books to reach the best possible grade. Grading companies grade books, and we do not, and can not, guarantee any comic grade.
